Cleaning then detailing of your car's interior is the most important part of any detailing process. The exterior and engine compartment have to look great if your are going to show your car. But, you see the interior while driving so detailing inside and out will make you feel better about yourself and your car.
The interior take as much of a beating as the rest of your car. You and your passengers are constantly tracking in mud, dirt and don't forget all the meals you eat in your car as conduct your busy life. So, our interior takes a real beating and the best way to extend it's life is to detail it frequently.

The first thing that needs to done is to thoroughly vacuum the interior. If you have an
Air Compressor
use it to blow dirt from under seats, between seats, door panels and AC vents then vacuum. Remove your floor mats and clean them out side the car. Wash vinyl floor mats with 409 or Simple Green, allow to dry. Do not apply
Armor All
or any other type of protectant to your vinyl floor mats. These types of products make your vinyl floor mats shine but make them slippery. The protectant can transfer to your shoes causing your foot to slip off the brake pedal. If your carpets are really dirty us a
Carpet Shampoo
and follow directions on the bottle.
For vinyl seats use a good cleaner and then a protectant such as
Meguiars Vinyl and Rubber Cleaner. Cleaning and conditioning leather seats is very similar to caring for your own skin.
Lexol
leather cleaner and leather conditioner is the very best. After cleaning and conditioning a leather interior allow one to three hour to air dry.
Door panels are cleaned based on their material. For fabric shampoo, for Vinyl use the same cleaner described below and leather Lexol.
Same products can be used on your instrument panel depending on material again. We use small cut off paint brushes, Q-tips to clean those hard to reach places.
For your cars glass Windex is just about as good as any auto detailing glass cleaner. If you have a favorite by all means use it. To remove streaks and smudges after cleaning your windows use a
Microfiber Towel
designed just for window glass. Microfiber towels also work great after waxing are car. There are two types, one for paint and one for window glass so use the right one.

liquid leather cleaner and leather conditioner and preservative intended for use in the care and conservation of leather.
Their purpose is to maintain the strength, beauty, utility and flexibility of leather - old and new - and to restore resiliency to old or neglected leather that has become hardened and stiff.
The oils in Lexol have been modified to facilitate effective distribution of microscopically fine oil droplets which can be more readily absorbed into the leather fibers than the comparatively large droplets typical of raw oils or less fine emulsions. Lexol's smaller oil droplets combine with the fibers, because of their affinity or adherence that is lacking with other oils. Thus the modified oils in LEXOL are kept under control and are retained in the area of application. In this way, Lexol is able to nourish the leather and its fibers while protecting against migration, or seepage, into adjacent materials or surfaces.
