 Most factory-polished aluminum rims are sprayed with a clear lacquer, acrylic or urethane to seal the wheel.

This is also very common on polished custom wheels.

and will not harm clear-coat!

Some cleaning agents are very caustic and should not be used on Aluminum Wheels With A Clear Coat! After cleaning your custom wheels always rinse well and use a clean cotton rag to polish.

The 6" by 3" thick Buffing Ball made from soft Italian viscose fiber, can be operated at up to 2000 rpm, and features a 5/8" hex shaft for non-slip use in most drills. Works great with either the Flitz Paste or Liquid Polish. The Polishing Ball is available kitted with either the Flitz Paste Polish (13224) or the Flitz Liquid Polish (13225) at a savings over individual pricing.
